Artist Vincent Marshall uses wood from fallen trees from the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains and creates stunning art that may be admired on a shelf or put to practical use. In his craft, Vincent uses a wood lathe to impart new life to trees. Vincent is a talented and versatile artist of many years who has been creating art and furniture most of his life.
He approaches each piece individually and draws inspiration from the wood itself ultimately allowing the wood to dictate the finished piece. “Wood is a very exciting medium because it has so much depth.
